Ahoyhoy™,
The Nunnery is the punchline to a class of jokes I call Jeopardy jokes: you get the punchline at the beginning, and you try to figure out the setup. I resolve this at the end of this article.
Soon after I awake, I deal with inner turmoil that persists throughout my day. Here’s a summary:

Without plain habits, I’m stuck doing nothing while anxious—this just burns time. With plain habits, though anxious, I progress a little. In one sense, they ensure some progress even when I get sidetracked by a dissociation, dream, or flashback, and help mitigate negative aftereffects of my PTSD symptoms.
Without plain habits, I lack the stability required to keep my anxiety in check. With plain habits, though I lack the stability required to be comfortable, it creates enough stability to build on. In this sense, they provide necessary structure to my life, and help mitigate negative consequences of my OCD symptoms.
In this series, The Nunnery, I aim to log these plain habits…
Finally, let me explain the title:

P.S. 96: I’ve updated my Contact Me page explaining how you can help me if you choose to. This includes a messaging form, my gmail address, my Twitter account, and a donation button to my Ko-Fi page. I’ll update specifics gradually. If there’s one thing I could ask for above all else, I’d ask for two—then I’d use one of those two to say that the best way to help is to share my work with someone.
On a serious note, thank you so much for reading—it truly means the world to me!
